Meet IFA’s Executive Board

Indy Folklore Academy, Inc. is led by our founder, Kristine Lopez, and her executive board, composed of dancers and parents of our academy. Learn more about IFA’s leadership team:

  • Kristine Lopez

    FOUNDER, PRESIDENT

    Kristine is a dancer with more than 11 years of experience in Mexican folkloric dance. She has trained with over 10 teachers from Mexico in private lessons and workshops, and has placed at several folklorico dance competitions in the U.S.

  • Alondra Galvan

    VICE PRESIDENT

    Alondra has been dancing folklórico since 2021 and currently serves as the vice president of IFA. Professionally, she works as an epidemiologist in clinical trials focused on cancer and diabetes treatment in adults. A newlywed and proud Dalmatian dog mom, Alondra is also an avid runner having completed seven half marathons and currently training for her first full marathon in Mexico City.

  • Miranda Frausto

    TREASURER

    Miranda is the Board Treasurer of Indy Folklore Academy. She started her dance career a year ago to connect more with her Mexican roots. Professionally, she works as the Latino/x/e Outreach Coordinator for Earth Charter Indiana, an environmental nonprofit. She facilitates bilingual nature programs for the Spanish-speaking community of Indianapolis.
